Yes, Edinburgh as it is currently known, was built above the original streets and wynds of Edinburgh’s historic past – many of which are still intact and open for you to explore. Take a trip through the Vaults and narrow closes of the 1700’s or the spine-tingling cobbled Edinburgh streets.
Our Ghost and Torture tour will give you an insight into the dark tales that lie beneath the surface of our cultured city, and also includes an exhibition on Edinburgh’s History. You can also mix and match with a Vaults and Graveyard tour. This chilling tour takes you into the world of Burke and Hare and all the dark and scary location around the old town. However, if you want totally and utterly paralyzing fearful scary, then it has to be the Terror Tour. This dark and frightening tour tells stories of murder and ghosts and unhappy spirits, with a visit to the stone circles and torture exhibition.
